Allow me to introduce myself -- Candee Lynn
Wilson -- real estate agent, mortgage
broker, ex-insurance agent, ex-advertising
executive, Internet entrepreneur wannabe and probably
some other things that I've forgotten about given that I
am soon to be 63 years old. Chalk it up to age-related
short-term memory loss.
I don't have a rags-to-riches story to tell you.
I am a hard-working, middle-class divorcee who wishes now
that I had someone to explain to me 40 years
ago the importance of saving. If I had, I would be
looking at a fairly secure retirement. As it is, I am
planning to work until I die. Fortunately, real estate is
something I can do for a very long time. I know one agent
who is 85 years old and still going strong. But would I
rather have the choice of NOT working? You bet I would,
but I can't.
Too late in life I learned the importance of
saving and not spending myself into oblivion. I am here
to help those of you who still have time on your side to
do what it takes to create a financially secure lifestyle
and, for those of you who are finding time running out,
to get on a track that will ease your financial
pressures.
There are ways to save money in every aspect of
your life. I hope to reveal to you as many of them as I
can, most of which I have used and am still using today.
I will also draw on the advice of others who present
viable ways to help more money stay in our
pocket.
This site is only the beginning of a journey to
enrich my visitors with the knowledge they will need to
make their financial dreams come true.
